By trade Dave is a graphic designer.  His love for art and design started at a young age and has continued through the years.  Dave graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA and worked for a year at Dow Chemical as an Industrial designer.

Then after a short stint in California working for a quick-print shop in Santa Monica, he became home-sick and moved back to Michigan. Dave returned to Dow and worked for another five years, to which in that time got married to his best friend and now wife, Cheryl.

In 1988, Dave chose to leave Dow Chemical to freelance.  Computers were coming into their own, especially in their graphic capabilities and he purchased his first home computer, an Amiga 1000, and several upgrades followed.

Soon Dave became a full time stay-at-home dad after the birth of his first born in July of 1990.
In March of 1991, when a position with Ameritech Advertising as a graphic artist was offered to him doing yellow pages advertising, he accepted.

He and the family moved to the greater Detroit area in March of 1992 to be closer to work. In 1996, he then moved into management as a trainer/staff person who was responsible for the graphic specifications of the ads for the yellow pages.

With three and one-half years of management under his belt, with the traveling involved as a trainer for the Ameritech region, and with the two, yes, two boys growing fast, Dave decided it was time to leave management and be able to spend the time and energy needed to watch his boys grow and enjoy their extra-curricular activities.  So in 2000, Dave returned as a graphic designer for Ameritech/SBC/AT&T as a spec artist for a Sales office in northern Michigan.

In January of 2010, his position was eliminated with AT&T, so after 19 years of employment, he found himself freelancing again, this time with his oldest son in college, and his youngest son graduating from high school.
In November of 2010, he accepted a graphic design position with a small design firm in northern Michigan, specializing in custom medal designs, awards and plaques.

In March of 2020, when the Covid 19 virus was raising havic around the world, and everywhere businesses where shutting down, Dave took this time to start up his ‘faith based’ t-shirt business, designing this website from scratch and putting his shirt designs on the web for sale.

At the end of May 2021, Dave decided to retire.  He and Cheryl moved south, out of the cold and snow of northern Michigan.  They have been in this transition since, getting close to finally being settled in their new surroundings.  January of 2022 Dave plans on getting back into his t-shirt designs and moving forward as the Good Lord leads him and his wife Cheryl on this new journey.
