Do you love to hug? I do!
To me hugging is a sign of love, friendship, support. It is saying to the one you are hugging that you ‘get them’ and ‘accept them’.
Hugging is a language universal to all and probably goes back to the beginning of time. I think God smiles upon us when we hug, and included are our pets. How much joy we receive hugging our dogs/puppies, cats/kittens, horses/colts, cows/calves, goats/kids, rabbits/bunnies, etc., and how much joy they receive in return!
When I hug, I say a prayer for the individual I am hugging, I ask God to work in their lives in the way He knows best. And I benefit from all the hugs also, for I believe God is present with us to all who believe Him.
Sometimes, just a hug!
